Left speaker cones popping in and out

Hi,

When no music is playing, but my amp is on, if I turn the volume up and down my left speaker cones pop in and out.

It’s strange and it’s not happening on the right speaker.

I’ve checked the wiring, its wired right.

Turn up the volume, out pops the left speaker cones, turn the volume down, they pop back in.

No sound is coming from the speakers.

Is this normal?!
