Least Height Receiver

Here's a daft question, sort of. Most of the AV receivers on sale these days are chunky beasts, ideally I'd like to get one that fits on my existing rack - the gap between my shelves is 6" (a squeak over 15cms). The Onk 507 would fit according to their website, but the 607 wouldn't nor would the Yama 763 (both 17cm and change).

Obv size is not the overriding factor in chosing a receiver, but if I can get a good receiver without changing my stand, I'd be happy.

Suggestions?

Dont forget most receivers run warm/hot so you need to take into account room for ventilation also, not just receiver height!So with only 15cm of space to play with i think a change of rack maybe required anyway to allow adequate ventilation and prevent over-heating.

Yes, and Onkyo in particular run very hot!
