i bought a samsung lcd tv, 650 series, at xmas, brilliant picture, until recently, i,ve discovered on the right hand side of the tv, there are a few vague black lines showing, when i,m watching it. i have my tv hooked up to a sky hd box, could this be causing a problem? i don,t know, but the tv has built in freeview, and when i change to watching the tv through that, no change, thin black lines are still there only on right hand side of screen, anyone with any ideas

Try a range of inputs/sources like different HDMI ports dvd/bluray etc. (much like you have already tried two sources).

Try a different HDMI lead also just for comfort and bypass any AV amp and go direct from source to the tv. (I appreciate for the freeview this doesnt really apply).

If the lines are always present it will be the tv at fault and look at the guarantee for assistance.
