I would like to ask a few question`s

1st question : On a lcd screen , if you have dead pixels on the screen is it possible they disappear over time ?

2nd Question : I have been reading on a few forum web-site about the Sony 40 X3500 has clouding problem`s , does this disappear over time ?

1. No i don't think they'll disappear. It's possible to hook the display up to a pc and run a pixel-checker program of some sort, but i think this may only be for stuck and not dead pixels. Some shops/manufacturers can be sympathetic and replace sets with dead pixels.

2. I've never heard of any clouding problems with the X3500. This was a major problem with their 2000 series sets, but they brought in an auto-dimming feature to get around this, but so far i think a massive majority of the sets have been cloud-free
