Laptop CD

I have made many I would suppose of CDR/RW from my laptop's, but it seems when rekindle CDR making from the laptops, I have found it does not work. This is on Window laptop, 10, 8 & XP. I had to reinstall Windows 10 and still Does not work. Windows 11 does not have CD player/recorder & external does not record. Have they made a stop for this coping. I have Many CD'S & LP's but have downloads as well.
