Kimber 4TC vs Chord Oddy 4

Hi all,

Would the Kimber 4TC be an upgrade from the chord oddy4? Would a single run with jumpers give a better sound smoother I meant, or would I need to biwire for a total improvement over the chord biwire?

Your thoughts would be nice, cheers.

Not a huge amount of difference. Both are good cables, the Kimber may be slightly better but we are talking small amounts. A sideways step IMO.

I've thought about going to the 8tc single wire or even chord signature single wire but at the moment I am biamping so I've decided to stick with oddy 4.

I used to have the Chord Epic Supertwin cable which is up the Chord chain from the Oddy 4.

I switched to Kimber 4TC with jumpers and found it a much better cable match for my system - slightly clearer and more detailed but also a more open in the soundstage.

So for me i felt it was an upgrade albeit as Joel says not remarkably huge.
