Hi All

First post for me! Now please bear with me on this post which may be construed as a waste of time etc but I'm keen to explore!

I've held on to my old Kenwood Midi system from the mid 90's and it's been sitting up the loft gathering dust probably since the turn of the century. I bought it once I'd finished my apprenticeship around 93 and cost in the region of £700+ in those days, but that info is not really necessary I suppose, just some background!

Anyway, my daughter who is in her late teens is now getting in to her vinyl and I thought I could get the old unit out the loft and she could use that. Turns out though that some way along the way, liking moving house, the turntable has disappeared. It can't be found anywhere including my parents loft.

So the question is, can I get a compatible turntable for it nowadays for a relative budget price (£100-150ish) as I can't seem to find the original type online (P38). AI search seemed to be suggesting a built in pre-amp type turntable?

I've still got the rest of the system (amp, cd player, tape deck and equalizer) and associated ribbon cables and power supply.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions good (yes you can get this type etc) or bad (forget it, chuck it away)!
