Hi,

I recently posted that i was having trouble getting my Jamos to create a complete soundstage from front to rear. Today i swapped my Jamo fronts for my old Kef 1005's and the sandstage widened and clarity across the front was far warmer. Then i swapped the centre speaker and it showed just how much better the Jamo centre speaker was. Damn! i ready to swap my Kefs back.

So

Would the boston xs' give me greater width (like Kef's UniQ speakers)?

Is the c?Boston centre speaker a match for the Jamo A102 5.1 one?

Would the Mordaunt Short Alumni fill the soundstage better whilst providing greater sound through the centre channel than the Boston's?

Ideal would be Kef 2005.3's but they are just too large. Looking under £500.

Thanks,

When you swapped your speakers around i assume you recalibrated the A/V each time? as this will make a difference if you did not to the sound from each of the speakers.

If your looking to buy you could always try these Clicky got 5* What Hi-Fi or these which i would think you could get at around your top budget Clicky.

I would recommend going for a demo 1st especially if size is a problem & of course to make sure the sound is sweet to your ears.
