Kef R300/R500; but which amp is the best?

I found the Pearl lite to be pretty good but then I did not find a lot of difference with amps in this price range. I also tried Audiolab 8200, MF M3i, RK K2, Arcam A19, Creek 50A and Rega Brio R. I would not say any were harsh/bright. I think a lot depends on room size and volumes you play, if low volume I think any of those would do, for higher volume I would avoid the Rega as I found that struggled when pushed. For louder music/large room I would consider the MF M3i or RK K2. For low/moderate volumes I would try the Creek 50A that was probably the best of the 50W amps I tried. The Audiolab/Pearl Lite are good mid power amps. What amps does your dealer stock.

isn't the sound of a Dynaudio 160 or 260 much, much better than from the Kef R500/r700, even with (bad) records (metal and rock)?
