On the whole, I have loved my R100s but one of the speakers got damaged recently and the sound is now ever so slightly muffled out of one speaker so......replacement time......
But, I would like new speakers to have all of the presence and soundstage of the R100s but with just a little more clarity and sparkle.
I don’t want or need bigger speakers and floorstanders are definitely out. Amp is a Rega Brio. Happy to go second hand. Possible options are: QACOUSTICS Concept 20, Dynaudio 42, B & W CM1, Totem Mite.
Happy to hear other suggestion. Thank you.

I would add PMC to the list.
One of their standmount models will give you clarity, sparkle and a tuneful, transmission line bass.....served up with (essential) speed.....none of that veiled stodge that some people actually crave.....so they can read a book whilst they're 'listening'.
