FWIIW I had a Q700/Q600C until recently (sold to make way for my R500/R600C set up), and I thought the q's were damn good speakers, I've played a lot of stereo music with them ,thought them very capable with the KEF signature mid range and treble excelling

Ther was some talk of a "flabby" or "bloated" bass, I did not get this even on Direct mode on my amp.

Why do you ask???

+1 for me as well. I like the clear mid range.

I'm pairing it with Music Fdelity A5.5

Thanks guys for the replies.

I am thinking of selling my Guru QM10 speakers and replacing with something like the KEF.

Also Kef are offering a 20% trade in allowance and I have a spare set of Mission 752 floor standing speakers I could trade in.
