Kef PSW - Amps packing in?

I recently read a thread on the home cinema forum saying that the amplifiers on the PSW line of subwoofers aren't up to scratch. Has anybody had experience with this sort of thing?

i have seen a few faulty ones scattered on ebay now you come to mention it, but I hav one and it is fine! Touch wood.
