Hi all,

I have a matching pair of Kef 101s, however, the right-side woofer is blown. I have found a set of two Monaco woofers and was wondering whether they would be a suitable replacement.
The replacements I have found are the Monaco SPH-125TC 5.25" woofers. I know they are dual voice coil, but they are a few quid cheaper than the SPH-125AD's, which are single voice coil. I have attached some photos of the blown woofer below if that helps.

I appreciate any help you can provide,
Nic.

It may be Monacor, with an r, as they make drive units. I’d seek advice from Falcon or Wilmslow, both long established speaker people.

If you’ve bought them as a recommended replacement then you’re almost ready to go. A quick Google suggests you should have bought the AD model though!

Falcon have also completely reengineered the B110 for their use, and to resell, but I suspect the cost probably exceeds what the complete speakers are likely worth, so you may want to consider that too.
