Kef 3005se vs bose am15

Hello there i currently have the bose am15 speaker package and have just recently upgraded my av amp to the yamaha 863se. i'm now considering the kef 3005se speaker package as an upgrade to the bose, but will i here an improvement . The bose am15 look the part, accept for the sub , and still sells for around the same price , but are the kefs worth spending the money on.

Would be worth auditioning the speakers with the new amp you've recently purchased.
I have the KEFs and they're excellent. I've only heard the BOSE in the shops and to be honest have never been bowled over by them.
A listen by you would be able to confirm.

Thanks for the reply, i think you are right, there is just something missing in the bose sound, but is it worth spending another £1000 or so on the kefs as its another big purchase. I have just bought the pioneer lx5090 as well, so the kefs would go quite well with the plasma .
