Can I make a suggestion?

Get a Cambridge EXN100 streamer. Then you can just get a normal amp with minimal extra features. Use the DAC/output stage in the EXN100 for anything you need to, for instance if you're looking at CDs once in a while then get a cheap, second hand Cambridge CXC transport and connect it to the DAC in the streamer.

Like one of my systems although I’d also consider the NODE ICON……..
Cheaper and offers XLR out to a power amp and has DIRAC built in.
I find the ICON is better in every way to the EXN ….Mated to a good power amp I reckon it’d see off the ARCAM offerings by a long shot.

Of course only a demo would prove such.
