KDL-32V4000 with Blu-Ray?

Just bought a KDL-32V4000, tempted away from the W4000 by the £400 currys deal that throws in a DAV-DZ260.

Being that this set is not full HD is there any point in getting a blu-ray player? Would I notice a difference over an upscaled dvd?

Very much so. You'd actually struggle to see the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 32 inch screen anyway. Blu-ray looks great on the V4000.

Incidentally, Currys actually make a loss on that deal. You've got a bargain. Sit back and enjoy it now!
