I have the K2 CD, amp & speakers.

I find the set-up to be on the warm side. Kind of like comparing CD to Vinyl in the old days if that makes sense.

Not that that is bad but if you like a bright sound my set-up wouldn't be it.

Could be due to room acoustics though, small bed-sit.

I've heard the full K2 setup. Fantastic! Very good indeed. Can't imagine being dissapointed...
