@Shrek - yep plan to investigate the heads at some point in the near future, and mixtapes from Tidal could be a really fun idea. Not sure if my preamp has analogue output though, will have a read up!

Took my turntable in for a setup. For the next week or so, this is now my main analog source 😎

I’ve bought a few more cassettes since & it’s amazing how good vs how bad some of them sound. Kinda pleased about the crappy ones, it’s nice to think they had been well-loved by a previous owner.

One of the cassette collections I picked up had Dog zest Dog’s album. That is amusing in itself, not the sort of thing you’d come across everyday. Oddly enough it’s probably the most worn/poo sound of them all. Maybe a Dog Eat Dog super fan ? 😂
