I have recently bought the above speakers (although no cables were supplied in the box). The subwoofer requires a seperate power source and has a power connector not dissimilar to a PC power cable, albeit minus the third prong. Does this matter ie can I use a PC power cable. Also when connecting the amp to subwoofer, the amp has a single phono connection whereas the subwoofer has two phono connections. I beleive that the feed is mono, therefore do a I need a phono cable that is 1 to 1 or a 1 to 2 phono cable?

What does the power cord look like? (pic would help). I take it you bought them second hand? Can't you contact the seller/retailer and obtain the correct power cable?

You just need a single RCA subwoofer cable (one to one) from the subwoofer pre-out on the back of the amp/receiver to the (L)eft input on the subwoofer.

the third pin in the socket is just an earth, it is the same cable as for the pc. U can use a y splitter or just put one phono in the sub depening on your taste.
