No, I think Bond films, and Carry On films, get a special pass to be 'what they are', and you either love 'em, hate 'em, are indifferent about them, but despite the fact the UK doesn't have much of a film industry to speak of these days, the Bond films and the Carry On films are something that we gave the world, and something - to many - that still endures.
