It's that time of year my left ear hates

Tradition dictates we have a tree, which I am very fond of. But going to a mono and a bit setup like this really bugs my ears



Anyone else compromising like this?

I can only imaging how good it'll be come January.

We have a nearly 3 year old ragdoll, we have not even considered a tree, or any other decoration he might be able to get to...

We did have a cat. Wasn't the playful kind so the tree was never in danger. I'm enjoying not having to take anti histermines and inhalers every day now

They put the tree so close to my hifi I could not open the CD drawer! I shuffled the tree a few inches, when no-on was looking. (Next year it's a Christmas stick.)

I'm only joking ok, so I mean no offence to anyone.
To make a statement, I'd consider placing the tree smack bang in front of the telly.

Bass will be fine, but there's too much tree-ble.

I'd change the room around and have the speakers at the long wall firing across the shorter side of the room.....then you won't need big floor standing speakers and the sound stage will be so much better..who cares about a fake tree....which you will be able to keep in that corner...away from your listening pleasure.🤣
