for a technics SL1210 - which is best:

IsoNode feet

Isolation Spikes?

Also, should they be sat on something 'special' - granite / wood etc etc?

Spikes can not, do not and never will isolate.

As to which you should choose would depend upon the surface upon which the turntable is sat and the manufacturers ethos for its handling of vibration to, from and within the turntable.

Cheers Russ.will

I'm going to put it on a solid wooden block that is sat in my floor - laminate wood.

Sorry - was using the term that's used as a product description rather than what they actually do. Spikes couple things together don't they??

I suppose I'm asking should i be trying to isolate the turntable from the rest of the room, or couple it it what it's placed on? is that right?
