ISO GTS Sub Platter and 12mm platter on its way

Hi,

It will be interesting to see how you get on with it. On my deck it places the cartridge screws in the middle of the arm head slots and the cartridge pointing very slightly inwards, in other words the front of the cartridge is slightly skewed to the centre of the deck. Hope that makes sense.

I align the cartridge using the cantilever as a reference rather than the body, although the cantilver seems to be straight in relation to the cartridge.

This one works for me anyway.

Hi All

Recived my Avid protractor yesterday. I realigned the cartridge by the stylus (cantilever) and also raised the arm by 2mm with some washers.

The Result?

First of all I would like to thank CSJF for your imformative threads and advice also chebby and stevieg330 for contributing.

All in all now very happy the combination of the isosubplatter, Avid protractor and raising the arm by 2mm has vastly improved the sound.

I will get a proper 2mm vta adjuster next month and an isoweight. But for now i am happy thanks guys.
