Is the Technics SL1200/1210 going out of production?

According to your review of the AT it is. Any information about the date, press releases from Panasonic etc?

I will have to ask the review team to respond, as I wasn't aware of any plans to discontinue the Technics decks.

There were rumours a while back, but as far as I recall they were denied.

I seem to recall that internet forum rumours have 'killed' the SL1200/Sl12100 a couple of times in recent years.

Yes, rumours of the demise of the SL1200/1210 have been greatly exaggerated. Again. Apologies for the inaccuracy.

Still, could have been worse...
