Is Panasonic 800 series plasma as good as Pioneer Kuro ??

Im thinking of buying the TH-42PZ800B model top of the range 42" version was wondering if anyone as reviewed or compared with pioneer kuro - any help will be really appreciated - esp from What hifi staff - why no reviews on top end models from Panasonic ??

I don't think they have had any in for review yet, waiting on the manufacturers to send in the tv's for testing.

So between the Pioneer Kuro 428 XD, Panna 800PZ, 80PZ, 81PZ and 85PZ, which would you recommend for watching digital TV, DVDs and (within a couple of months) Blu Ray? (I do not game and have a decent surround sound system already)

I can get the 800PZ and Kuro 428 for exactly the same price (£1500) and the 85PZ for (£1200) am not sure what to do...

Can you please compare the Panasonic 800 series with the current 8G Pioneer TVs as well, i.e. the 428XG and 508XG? Thanks!
