They're alluding to the fact that Philips Hue can display 16 million colours. You can set as many scenes you want for different moods.Diamond Joe said:"Limitless possibilities for an extraordinary experience"bigboss said:https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/7190155PH/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-lig...
Really?
Pure marketing hyperbole, I don't have an issue with the product but the BS the marketing people come up with gets my goat.
Can I get these lights from anywhere else? ThanksGray said:You could use fixed LED strips to light the back wall.
I've used coloured GU10s in a fitting above the TV. They shine down a plain backwall, using RGB you can have any colour, including white. with nice overlaps. (The wall looks better than most of the stuff on TV)
These are what I used (when they cost a fiver each!):

This old classic nicely shows the RGB mixing:

BB I am thinking about the lightbulb thing now instead, I need LED candle bayonet lights though. Any ideas where to get them from?bigboss said:2 X 2m lightstrip is what you'll need. TBH, it's more of a gimmick. You'll stop using it in a few weeks.
I don't know about this one, but I had one from visual chillout. The quality was really poor.gel said:BB what about this:
