I've heard and read that Heos is a very bad and slow app, obviously not everybody agree...I wanted to know if any Heos user or Marantz users who play their digital content in Tidal or Spotify through Heos could tell about the experience using this app, in terms of connectivity, streaming quality, and ease to use. Im planning to get the new Marantz Model 40n which is gorgeous but streams through Heos...thanks!

I've been using HEOS for 4 years now and it's excellent. Ignore the naysayers. It only lacks for MQA support but little else. Supports Spotify Connect, and connects to Tidal through HEOS too for full resolution(it doesn't use Bluetooth to connect).
Yes BluOS may be better, but it doesn't take anything away from HEOS.

Thank u for the response! What I heard and d be very bad, is that you cant go forward and back into the song, just change to another song (I have Android). This happens to me actually with Musiccast from Yamaha, if I play from Tidal or Deezer just cant go forward or back in the song....thats why ID be getting a marantz 40n with Heos.
