Hi everybody

I'm new here. I'm in position to change my existing Pioneer A-30 & N-30AE. Mostly, I'm listening my CD collection - converted to FLAC and stored on NAS. Beside this, Spotify (other services could be considered) and internet radio (TuneIn).

These days, I need good reliable app, that will not make me crazy. Also, one of things that I need is possibility on app to scroll through song (change time of playing - english not my native language, obviously). Since shops are not working and generally, I'm not fan of sales people, I'm asking you for your experience with different systems
- HEOS - my choice would be Marantz PM7000N
- BluOS - Bluesound Node 2i
- CA - Cambridge Audio CXN V2 & CXA6x/8x
or some other recommendation? Please, try to stay focused on apps.

Speakers are KEF R500

Yamaha do great integration of their Musiccast app and Spotify Connect. The integration with Tidal is not so good.
Mike, if you listen own music collection (from PC, NAS)
- can you scroll through song (change play time) ?
- Will app be able to display album art (from FLAC, mp3 metadata)?
- if app is closed on your mobile/tablet, will music continue to play?

I can comment on the HEOS I have been using for the last few years.
  • Simple and intuitive application.
  • Good integration with Deezer.
  • TuneIn works fine
  • Easy access to all content on the local network.
  • And yes, even though the app on the phone is turned off..the last selected content continues to be played.
  • Easy multi room access ...
  • Album art is displayed if I use Deezer. Did not check from NAS..
  • I was using it on Marantz NA6006, now on ND8006
