Hi- I have a Yamaha RXV775 and have read good reviews about the KEF 305 - space is not an issue its just that I have narrowed it down to this style speaker system or the Dali Zesor 1 5.1. The room is 18 foot long and 15.3 foot wide - is this room too large to get the most from the KEF system?

Thanks

Dan,

My lounge in my flat is 7.3m long 4.57 m wide and my ceilings are 3.8m high. I used Kef fllorstanders with a NAD reciver in the lounge and it was great with movies and music. I had demoed the Kef eggs but they didn't do anything for me. My son coveted my set up and I gave it him for his 21st. I now have an Onkyo 905 and B&W 685 Theatre with the ASW610 subwoofer and absolutely love it.

My advice to you is to compare Kef and B&W satelites and bigger speakers on stands from their ranges and make an informed decision.

Best wishes

Chris

Proper speakers all day long. Cannot argue with Physics. Big space, big air to move, big speakers.

Hi - I don't mind if its style or traditional just as long as it gives the best sound in that room - my budget is anything up to 1,500 and my receiver is the yamaha 776 so any suggestions are welcome. Would the Monitor Audio Apex be a better option than the Dali Zensor 1s - sorry quite new to all of this as I haven't really updated my system in hte last 10 years.

Thanks

Hi - thanks for your earlier replies - I need to pull the trigger on a set of surround sound speakers soon as my home cinema room is nearing completion. I am still leaning towards the Dali Zensor 1 sunnound sound package - are they the best option coupled with a Yamaha RX775 in an 18 foot long by 15.5 foot wide room? Any help greatly appreciated - so thanks in advance.
