iPhone 5s v SE

my 3 year old iPhone 5s is playing up with the battery. Called into carphone warehouse and I can get a iPhone Se 32gb with vodaphone cheaper than my three contract, so might swap over.

want to keep with Apple but are the Se versions any good? I like the smaller apple iphones as don’t like the big screen ones that don’t fit in your pocket that well and I don’t do that much surfing on the phone.

The 5S seems to be a bit of a dodgy one judging by all the people I know who are having problems with it - my own included.

I'd recommend the SE - it's got a similar chipset that the 6S did, so should have better performance than a 5S.

I'd also imagine Apple will keep it going for longer, to subdue its fans who enjoy smaller phones, whereas I can see the 5S being phased out sooner (that's just speculation though).
