Interconnects for Rega RP3

Afternoon,

Just to jump on the back of this post, i'm looking to buy an RP3 this weekend to go with my Brio R purchased last weekend but I have an issue in that the phono leads are only 1m long. My TT will be at least 2m from the amp. The shop owner has suggested I use an adaptor and another phono lead (the lead in question is the Rega Cable 2) as this will be similar quality to the ones fitted on the turntable. Anyone heard anything about this cable and whether this seems like the best option available to me. Due to my current set up I cant get the TT any closer to the amp. It'll be £95 for the extra lead and adaptor.

You don't need a Rega specific cable.

If you want a fancy cable then buy a male to male version and use a female to female convertor:
