Intel WiDi and Samsung WiFi Direct

My HP Folio Ultrabook laptop has Intel WiDi wireless display. Will this work with my Samsung UE32ES6300 TV which has WiFi Direct?

What's the difference between WiDi and WiFi Direct? Whatever happened to DLNA compatibility?

OK - spoke to Intel and got some answers:

Yes - Intel WiDi is compatible with Samsung WiFi Direct - both are DLNA standards.

Need latest Intel Centrino wireless driver to support WiFi Direct - 15.1.1.1

Need Samsung AllShare application - http://www.samsung.com/global/allshare/pcsw/

Tried with some photos and seems to work fine. Haven't tried streaming video yet.
