I love the McIntosh but the cost of maintenance is pretty high. Still, I guess that's a small price you pay for magic.McIntosh monoblocks?

Lamborghini says "The ESAVOX is a docking-station speaker that takes its cues from the most iconic details of Lamborghini dream cars: a monocoque chassis in autoclave polymerised carbon fibre, a variable-valve exhaust system to handle the sub-woofer pressure, a passive shock-absorber system to dampen vibrations and variable-height tapered supports."

There's also offerings from pagani for an unlisted but obviously going to be crazy price. If I had insane amounts of disposable cash, I would buy a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 with the ESAVOX audio system.

There's a McIntosh CD player for sale on eBay at the moment. It's quite unusual looking. I bet it's a great CD player. I was thinking that only our American friends know how to do American styling.I love the McIntosh but the cost of maintenance is pretty high. Still, I guess that's a small price you pay for magic.

I think I saw one that looks just like that the other day. It didn't sound great, just made a bubbling and hissing noise. It was behind the counter at Costa. There's also offerings from pagani for an unlisted but obviously going to be crazy price.
The record deck integration looks very nice. 😎
Even if they were only to look at ...If you had insane amount of cash, what would be your personal HiFi Choice for 2024?

I was disappointed when I heard the Michi set-up at Bristol, with Spendor speakers, but that may have been down to the room and set-up.I want a Rotel Michi amp. But only because it looks cool. No idea what it sounds like. 😀
What were your thoughts....?I was disappointed when I heard the Michi set-up at Bristol, with Spendor speakers, but that may have been down to the room and set-up.
