Thought I'd be a bit clandestine and order the rDAC for delivery today as the other half's away for a few days so I can stealthily sneak it into the hi fi cabinet and she'll never know...

But no stock! Got to wait 'till the end of the month![🙁]

Getting her away is a doddle – a girlie day at a spa sorts that. But getting her to take the little 'uns as well...

got myself the Musical Fidelity M1 DAC today. 3 months old, £270. Should be here on the weekend. Can't wait to compare it to my current AE straight into Amp setup.

Indeed. Ideally I'd like to audition it with my kit first, but I've heard it with my MacBook and cheaper amp and speakers and it sounded great...

just bought one today......... absolutally awesome for the money... discovering things ive not heard before on faveroute album tracks.. and thats just listening to cds on the lap top....
