Hello

I am sure there are hundreds of threads with people asking the same question. But everything is person / setup specific. For years I have been a 100% vinyl person. But since I copied all of my CDs before selling I have tons of music on my macbook pro as well as music I bought on itunes. I'm getting to a point where I want to play it through the amplifier. Up till now I was just going to get an airport express but I understand the internal dac is not that great. right/wrong?

I don't want to spend much on getting this up and running. Main thing is having it wireless and then the quality will depend on price. Can I get away with 200 euro? Or 250? Should I go sonos over apple? I appreciate any advice you can give!

My amp is the musical fidelity M6500i.

Thanks!

As far as I was aware its ok to copy them to computer since I bought them all legally. Maybe I got it wrong?

Yes it is*, but only as long as you still own them, as soon as you sell the CDs you're no longer permitted to keep any other copies of the music, which, if you actually stop to think about it, makes sense doesn't it?

*For now, the recent change in law is being challenged in the courts by the music industry, to the surprise of nobody...
