I have a Pioneer VSX-2020-K receive in combination with Q-Acoustics speakers 2050 (front), 2010 (back), 2000C (center) and a 2070 sub. Fronts are bi-amped. I do have receiver set to 6 Ohms speakers and front bi-amp.
Now everytime my receiver switches soundmode (eg, DTS, PCM, DD, ...) or videomode (720p, 1080p, ...) I hear a small plop in the speakers. It's similar to changing channels on a very old tv. It happens many times I switch the channel on my digital tv decoder, but it's not limited to that. My mediaplayer or tv has the same effect.
I've just checked once more if there's no short circuit between channels and if all speakers are connected correctly.
It only started doing this when I switched from single wire to bi-wire (bi-amp in my case). I haven't switched back yet...
Any ideas what's the cause of this ?
