How to use the input volume on speaker?

I have the Argon Audio Fenris A55 standing speakers, they are active/powered.

On the back panel there is a input volume knob.
The only device connected to the speaker is my turntable, it’s on the phono input.

How to use this knob?
Do I need to set it at the minus or plus side? Almost closed or fully open?

The manual doesn’t say anything about it.
Sorry, I’m a beginner and I don’t know that much about Hifi.

Simple answer would be set it to 5 & see how it feels when using the remote to control volume. If it doesn’t go loud enough, turn up the volume on the back. Repeat until loud enough or the signal starts to distort.

You really need to contact / visit your dealer/supplier
Did they demo the items / show you how to use them before purchase

How to use this knob?

Your question might be more relevant if you were using a source with variable output.
But, with only a turntable connected to the phono input, you can only really adjust the control as you would the one on a radio or TV set - in other words set it to your desired listening level.

We never got any closer to knowing whether your speaker is one of those inherently noisy ones....
