How to improve my setup?

Hi All,

below are my setup.

1) Cambridge Audio 640 Azur V2

2) Marantz CD 6002

3) Wharfedale Diamond 9.1

4) Clearer Audio copperline Alpha main cables for Cd player/Amp

5) Clearer Audio copperline power hub

6) Atlas Equator Superior interconnects

7) Chord carnival silverscreen speaker cables.

I listen to jazz & pop songs. i noticed i cannot turn my vol pass 8 "o clock (max is slighly above 8 O' clock mark, else my ear will feel tired... when listening to fast tracks.

most obvious improvement on the sound that I got, was when Ichanged my interconnects to Atlas equator...

Any advise anyone?

I found a set of inline attenuators mellowed the sound and lets me listen at higher volumes without fatigue.May be worth a try.
