How to get the most out of my front pair?

Hi there. Having set up my new system I'm finding that my new front pair need a little bit more oomph to drive them than my rears and centre. What's the best way to help them out? Should I add a front pair power amp, or go further and bi-amp them? I notice the difference in particular in stereo use. My AV amp doesn't seem to be quite up to the task of putting across flavoursome and rich stereo while it is very good at 5 channel stereo (as well as, but in this case, as opposed to DD5.1).

I'm thinking that although the set-up is tonally matched at the top end, the surrounds and centre are easier to drive than the front pair across the midrange and bass. So should I just increase the front pair gain by a tad or think about upgrading the amplification?

Tested last night with the Best of U2 (1990-2000) DVD which is in PCN Stereo. Nice.

Pioneer DV565D (to be upgraded sometime!), Denon AVC A10SE, Dali Ikon 6 5.1, Good cables!

Any advice much appreciated!
