Hi guys a neighbour of mine currently has a Toshiba Regza and is not too impressed by the sound quality. He also doesn't have the space for putting an amp in, so I suggested active speakers to him, something like this seems a good suggestion http://www.svp.co.uk/soundvision/speakers-headphones/speakers/cygnett-unison-i-x5-black-speaker-system-for-ipod-gradea313_black-ipod-speakers.html. However I would like to know how i connect this to the tv and also, do you think this is a bad choice as it seems he wants to sit them on the floor?

Review here. Unit has both 3.5mm stereo and analogue RCA inputs, so all you need do it run a cable from the TV's audio outputs (if it has them) to one of these. Or at a pinch from the TV's headphone socket.

just make sure you check the tv outputs - noticied on some new tvs that they are only offering optical out so would also need a dac or an av receiver ect
