Industrial bleach applied with angle grinder.
Are you mad? That'll definitely damage the screen. Try sandblasting or a belt sander for best results (fine grit of course).

Go to Halfords or your local independent car-accessories shop and buy a bottle of Autoglym Fast Glass and some plush microfibre cloths. Don't be tempted by similar products from Meguiar's or Mer etc, they smear badly.

Microfibre cloths are made by wizards. Brilliant. For phones, tablets etc a damp cloth and dry with cloth. Plasmas never need anything. LCD's ????? I have tried all sorts

[*]
1.Turn off the device. If the screen is dark, it will be easier to see the areas that are dirty or oily.
[*]
2.Use a dry, soft cloth and very gently wipe the screen. A great choice would be the microfiber type of cloth used to clean eyeglass lenses. A dry eraser works good too.

3.See Tip #1 below for kinds of cloths to avoid.
[*]
If the dry cloth did not completely remove the dirt or oil, do not press harder in an attempt to scrub it off.

4.Pushing directly on the screen can often cause pixels to burn out, especially on laptop displays, desktop monitors, and LCD/LED TV screens. This isn't so much an issue on screens designed to be touched, like phones and tablets, but be careful nonetheless.
[*]
5.If necessary, dampen the cloth with distilled water or with an equal ratio of distilled water to white vinegar.

Iv always used window cleaner and kitchen roll, never done any damage ?

Plasma and LCD flat screen TVs require more care than old glass TV screens, which could be cleaned with glass cleaner and a paper towel. LCD panels are made with a type of plastic than can be easily damaged by abrasive chemicals in the window cleaner and abrasive paper towel.
