None, previous ones are sold to fund latest ones

Mind you my present speakers will be with me for the foreseeable future.

As I type I'm listening to Elin Manahan Thomas singing Didos Lament and it sounds fantastic,

These Spendor SA1s are going nowhere..............

None as I got fed up trying to store them in garage as no room in the house (at least that's what the wife said!!). All mine generally get sold to fund latest aquisition apart from a couple of pairs of old Quad 11L's which now reside in a home cinema set-up.

Mint condition, boxed, Mordaunt Short MS20i Pearl Edition.

They would cost me more to sell than I would get back for them. (Not a 'trendy' brand despite being excellent speakers.)

As a result they stay in the cupboard under our stairs as a spare pair.

That's ok though. They only cost me £28 + £15 delivery a couple of years ago. (I was the first person - since they were made in 1998 - to ever use them I think.)

Wow what a find! I had the MS20i from 1996 I think.. they were very revealing little speakers, and still English made I think.. ah those were the days! I am jealous. They should be used!

The Pearl Editions were not just a 'cosmetic' makeover but had completely different drivers and crossovers, designed from scratch by Epos founder and designer Robin Marshall (Epos were owned at that time by Mordaunt Short & the TGI group). They were built in Hampshire in 1997. (This was about 2 - 3 years before they became a Chinese made 'label' brand for Audio Partnership.)

Have a pair of MS 914 floorstanders in the loft and a MJ Acoustics 50 sub in a wardrobe, unlikely to use either again so offers are welcome :) ( that was a joke in case I`ve broken forum rules)

all others have been sold to part fund upgrades/compulsive box changing :)

Oh gosh...

Mordaunt-Shorts MS902i Avant, Wharfedale Diamond 9.1, Wharfedale Diamond 8.3+, KEF C30, AE Compact 1, Quad 11L, Epos M5i.

Many more than these have been through the house, so to speak, but most have been sold on to fund the next purchase/compulsive box swapping!

Of those that are left, I'll never part with the Diamond 9.1s. The veneer has come away on the bottom surface where I used blu-tack to secure them, but they are a great little speaker and one I find myself going back to every now and then. The 902i Avants are slightly bruised on the back edge from being knocked off a speaker stand. I can't stand listening to them any more so they will probably go in the end. The 8.3+ are OK but well off the pace now and the build is particularly cheap on them. They are a bit large to store for too long so will probably go too.

Yes, yes. But what about the Quad 11ls?

Are they the original 77-11ls? (Or subsequent variants?) Which veneer are they finished in? Matt or high gloss? What condition? Do they work? Are they boxed? Have they been 'thrashed?

Not that i'm interested :)

The 11Ls are the original 77-11Ls in the lightest wood finish - can't remember what they called it. Not boxed but in extremely good condition, and none of my hi-fi gets thrashed.

Tannoy MX1 - minty mint in there original boxes bought around release time from dixons in northampton. They have less than 50hrs on them.

Tannoy M2- bought in 1998 and were used nearly everyday for a good few years. One day my cat managed to karate kit one of the speakers off its stand. Took the fall quite well with minimal damage, surprisingly!

Monitor audio silver S8 - owned since 2006 and have just been replaced
