How many issues in a year?

I subscribed last march (24th was the payment date) and should be billed every 13 issues (according to the letter i received).

Given that i seem to get one issue a month how can i have had this years payment taken today. surely it should be next month or are there more than 12 issues a a year?

12 with monthly cover dates and the Awards issue.

So we publish every four weeks, not every month.
