how do i update sky+ hd box?

im looking for a way to update my sky +hd box manually to get the new epg system as i could be waiting a while for sky to send out this new card?

Forcing a firmware update wont get you the new epg i'm afraid. The new epg is being rolled out by STB make, model and version numbers,and until you're top of the list,so to speak,you wont receive the epg.
