How do I copy files from my ipod shuffle to my PC?

I've just been given a netbook and one of those flashy new phones and would like to get the music from my ipod shuffle onto both. The shuffle isn't the current model but the one before it.

I've tried using my new netbook but it has itunes on it and as soon as that starts, which it does automatically whenever I plug the shuffle in, I can no longer see the shuffle as a separate drive under Windows Explorer.

Any ideas?

Do a search for Ipod to computer transfer,plenty of software out there that should do what you want.

Yes, thanks, did that but in the end worked it out without requiring other software.
