How do I connect Sky+ through Onkyo 605?

Hi all, anyone know how I can connect my Sky+ through to my Onkyo 605 which has a HDMI link to the plasma.

I tried component leads but couldnt get a picture up. Is there a particular setting on the Onkyo? I am hoping the signal from tke Sky+ box gets upscaled through the amp and to my TV. Is this even possible??

Help would be appreaciated!

No, no upscaling on the Onkyo TX-SR605.

Your best bet is a direct video connection from the Sky+ box to the TV, plus an optical connection from the Sky+ box to the receiver for audio.

How do you seperate the audio/video settings on the Sky box? I would not mind having surround sound for sports.

You don't - you just set up the audio menu's optical output option to Dolby D, and it squirts the sound down the optical cable to your receiver. The output straight to the TV via Scart is unaffected.
