How do I connect my A/V receiver to my Blu ray player

Good day, experts. I need your help in connecting my Marantz NR-1402 A/V receiver to my Sony BDP-S370 blu ray player? My TV is a Sony EX-52 LED TV. I know they're all labeled and in the manual, but I don't want to mess things up by hooking it wrong.

Appreciate your usual advice on this matter. A detailed explanation is much appreciated. Moreover, is it still advisable to use my old Pioneer equalizer GR-333, though the receiver has a built-in equalizer (Audyssey)?

One HDMI cable from the Blu-ray player to HDMI input number 1 on the Marantz (marked "BD"), then another HDMI cable from the output on the Marantz to the TV (if the TV is ARC enabled on one of its HDMI inputs use that one, otherwise use any of them).
