Looking for a projector or tv for my bedroom (current using a 22 inches in the bedroom) but can't decide which has advantage over the over in terms of picture quality. I know projector wins in terms of image size but how does the picture quality of a projector compare to recent tv releases. there will be differences in opinion but would be good to see different for and against.

How big should a tv be to get good movie and 3d experience?

Something that goes beyond your field of vision. :)

When you say field of vision would you say something like a 55 inches tv is beyond field of vision. If not what size would you say is beyond field of vision.

Thanks, I have had a look at that link. Going back to my question would say in terms of picture quality that a tv of below £1000 is more superior than a projector below £1000. Vice versa.

i had a demo of two projectors recently, on epson and a jvc, both looked great. Detail for the size was amazing. For me a tv has the better picture quality, but the projector had the wow factor and a better experience. I'd go for the projector if I could fit one in my lounge
