hooking up my audiolab 8000s to my mission 78as sub

just wanted to pick someones brain in regards to connecting my audiolab 8000s up to my mission 75as.can i do this purely with a pair of interconnects?if so,what mode do i select on the amp?
any help much appreciated...thanks.

You can use the phono connection if the amp has variable outputs - usually Pre-outs to utilise a power amp.

Otherwise you can use the speaker outputs and connect with speaker cable....

i wanted to avoid using speaker cable..shovel hands and fiddly terminals etc..so i will try interconnects and switch the amp to pre power and see if that works..i just dont want any explosions..thanks.

According to Rel's Richard Lord, connecting from the speaker posts on the amp gives the best performance for stereo use as the sub gets exactly the same signal as the speakers.
Might be worth doing if its just a 2 channel setup.
