I am looking to buy a home cinema system for under GBP 200 (can stretch to 250 if it is really value for money, though I am not a big audiophile). I have a Samsung LE32R88BD LCD TV and a Sony DVD Player. So, I am essentially looking for packages without a DVD player (and which provide some real advantages over the packages with DVD Players!). I have zeroed in on Yamaha AV 61 and Sony HTD-DW790/Sony HT-SS1000. Can you guys please share your thoughts on which one of these would be better? Ofcourse, if you think there is another system that I am overlooking right now, I'd be glad to know of it. As I said, I can stretch 50-80 pounds, only if that extra bit is getting something much better. Want to place an order asap, so quick help would be appreciated.
